The Manitoba School Boards Association Pension Plan for Non-Teaching Employees of Public School Boards in Manitoba is a defined contribution pension plan. This means that the benefit members receive at retirement depends on the contributions made and the investment performance of the pension fund.

The Pension Plan for Non-Teaching Employees of Public School Boards in Manitoba is sponsored by the Manitoba School Boards Association and governed by a Board of Pension Trustees, which include representation from the sponsoring association, the Manitoba Association of School Business Officials, and employee groups. The Pension Plan was established in August 1974 and has thirty-three participating school divisions with over 8,831 active contributing employee members. The Plan has assets of approximately $735 million (2022), and is registered under both the Income Tax Act and The Pension Benefits Act (Manitoba).

The Board of Pension Trustees oversees all aspects of the administration and management of the Pension Plan. The assets of the pension fund are held in trust in the name of the Plan and are invested by the Board of Pension Trustees, which has responsibility over investment policy and which regularly reviews the investment performance of the pension fund.
